Case study · Our own product
TillIQ: understanding the business behind the till.
TillIQ is our own product for restaurant business insight. It connects to Clover so sales, orders and payments can become the starting point for clearer business questions.
Where it stands
Preparing for launch. This page describes the product, not published customer results.
The problem
Restaurant owners need to understand the business as well as run it. Sales, orders and payments each hold part of that picture; bringing them into a useful conversation should not mean changing the underlying records.
The practical need is insight into what has happened, with a clear boundary between reading business information and taking action.
The solution
TillIQ provides read-only Clover insight into sales, orders and payments. The connection supports questions about business records while keeping the integration focused on analysis.
TillIQ also appears alongside catering figures through the optional Clover integration described in CaterWiz. CaterWiz remains usable without that integration.
What we built
- A read-only Clover integration for business insight
- Access to sales, order and payment information for analysis
- An optional connection alongside CaterWiz catering figures
What this shows
Useful automation starts with a specific business question and the records needed to answer it. Here, the engineering boundary is equally important: reading information for insight is separate from changing business data.
TillIQ, CaterWiz and Setout are Rase Solutions products. They are presented as our own work, not as client engagements or evidence of unmeasured customer outcomes.
