Mobile App Problems
Your app got rejected. We'll get it approved.
App Store and Google Play rejections are frustrating, but they're rarely the end of the road. Most come down to a specific, fixable reason — and we've seen the common ones many times.
You did the hard part: you built the app. Then the review came back rejected, often with a reference to a guideline number and little else. It's deflating, especially when you were ready to launch. The good news is that the vast majority of rejections are for concrete reasons that can be identified and resolved.
We help teams read past the boilerplate, find the actual cause, fix it properly, and resubmit with confidence. Whether it's Apple or Google, a first submission or a repeat rejection, the process is the same: diagnose, remediate, resubmit.
Does this sound familiar?
- Apple rejected your app and cited a guideline you don't understand
- Google Play flagged a policy issue you can't pinpoint
- Your app keeps getting rejected for the same reason
- Reviewers mention privacy, permissions, or data use
- You're missing a privacy policy or required disclosures
- The app was pulled or an update won't go through
The rejections we see most often
On the Apple side, common causes include privacy and data-use issues, missing or inadequate privacy policies, permission requests without clear justification, broken functionality during review, misleading metadata, and payment rules (using outside payment methods where Apple requires its own). Google Play tends to flag policy violations around permissions, background behavior, data safety declarations, and messaging or SMS features.
The pattern is that the fix is usually specific and achievable — a corrected disclosure, a permission removed or justified, a compliant payment flow, or a functionality issue resolved. The trick is correctly diagnosing which one applies, because resubmitting without fixing the real cause just earns another rejection.
